I work best when the problem is hard and the stakes are real, collaborative by nature and happiest when I'm heads-down with a great team. Right now I'm at Coast, designing financial tools for trades businesses. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually shipping something on the side.

I came up as a web manager, writing code before I ever called myself a designer. Over time I realized the part I cared most about was how things felt and worked, not just how they were built. So I leaned into design, but never let go of the technical side. Twelve years later, that combination is still what makes the work interesting to me.
